Mother May I?

Mother May I? is a children's game.

One player, particularly a female (but sometimes a male) plays the "mother" or "father". The other players are the "children". One of the other players asks "Mother/Father, may I?". The mother/father has to reply "Yes, you may" or the game can't proceed. As a response, the players usually move closer to the "mother"/"father". The first of the children to get to the "mother"/"father" wins the game, and another player may be chosen to play the role.
