Do plants feel?

Yes plants do feel and they react to light and gravity. They also react to touch and sound. Plants are sensitive to certain stimuli. But they cannot feel pain or emotion as people do. The leaves suddenly droop if disturbed of the plant Mimosa pudica. Different amounts of reaction in Mimosa are possible. One leaf droops on a gentle touch. But the whole plant can get affect by the large disturbance. This shows that a plant transmits the message. When there is sound, such as music, around them plants have shown to grow faster. Some people even claim that plants can communicate by telepathy and that they can feel pain and emotion. Although there is no doubt that plants can feel too but to a limited extent, they certainly cant feel in the same way that animal do.
