The Earth takes one year i.e.365 days-to make one complete revolution around the sun. The other planets take more time or less time depending upon their distance from sun. For e.g. the planet Pluto takes around 248 of our Earth-years to revolve around the sun, this is because Pluto is very far away from the sun. Where as the planet Mercury takes less than three months to make one full revolution and that is because Mercury is very close to the sun.
